Relaxation ~ Rejuvenate ~ Refresh

The art of Indian Head Massage (IHM) originated from the ancient Indian system of medicine called Ayurveda; the balance of body, mind, and spirt and promotion of long life.

An IHM session focuses on the upper back, shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, face and ears. Marma points are an integral part of Ayurveda and are subtle pressure points similar to points used in acupressure and Reflexology, which stimulants the life force or pranic flow. Most of the session is done seated in the chair, with finishing, laying on your back on the massage table; paying attention to the face, ears and balancing the upper chakras.

Imagine a time for you, without an agenda?

Life has become so busy that we forget to carve out time for ourselves:  “Me time”!  Imagine your world when you are in a state that is even more grounded, present and peaceful?

For what I have discovered, allowing to ‘let go’ and relaxing into this state, of more grounded, present and peaceful, is like a river flowing;  it flows out from you, to your world, and to your loved ones. From such a peaceful place, this is where magic happens for you!

IHM is a simple and effective session.

A session with IHM is simple and effective. It is best to wear loose clothing and no heavy sweaters.

The possible benefits from an IHM session

To name some possible benefits, it relaxes tight and painful muscles, eases stiffness, and breaks down knots in muscles. It can give your hair a healthy lustrous shine; encourages deeper breathing and deep relaxation; triggering the release of “feel good” chemicals to rejuvenating a more balanced state of being; wonderfully refreshed!
