From Dark Night to Serving the Light

It’s hard to fight your soul, when it knocks on the door of your life and tells you it’s time to make a change.  And when you happen to agree, then all you can do is step aside while the soul rearranges your life.

It was about ten years ago when this happened to me.  Fortunately, I did not know how drastic and painful the changes would be.

But they were necessary.  Because I had made this declaration: “I am who I came here to be.”  I had demanded to discover and become my truest, highest self.  Which meant that anything less than that would be removed.

I was sent on a years-long journey of self-discovery and self-healing.  I experienced dozens of forms of healing, and studied many of them.  I became a Reiki Master, Kundalini Yoga Teacher, Life Coach, and Shamanic practitioner.  I served Spirit as a Lightworker.  I planted the seeds of what is now my business, Put The Light Here.

Eventually, I came to rest, embodying what I had set out to embody: Myself.

It was the classic spiritual journey.  While the details are different for each of us, the template is similar: surrendering; dismantling; overcoming; discovery; rebuilding; and embodying.

From there, we might create something new for the world, or even help others through their own process.

I happily do both, now.  Visit PutTheLightHere.com to see what’s there for you.
