“I Can”

I think that the two words “I Can” are probably the two most powerful words after “I Am”. All along my life journey, I’ve come across situations where I had serious doubts about my abilities to accomplish the task at hand. I’m sure that you have been in the same situation as well.

Doubt is a natural feeling when faced with a new task or situation. This is OK as we humans are naturally programmed with a “fight or flight” response that has served to protect us over time. This is a good thing and if the odds seem stacked against us, then we naturally opt to protect ourselves from harm.

The sad thing is that I’ve seen too many people get consumed by their fears and their doubts which has brought the pursuit of their dreams to a full stop. It does not have to be that way. Shifting your internal dialogue from I Can’t to I Can will be life changing for you and your family. All successful people in the world have had this internal struggle. The difference with them is that they have programmed themselves to have an unshakable belief in their abilities to achieve their goals and dreams.

This new way of thinking must become habitual. You must develop the attitude of positivity and keep telling yourself that Yes, I Can do this!  When you get knocked down, pick yourself up and keep going. When you reach milestones, stop and celebrate your accomplishments! Develop this I Can attitude and start going after your dreams! Dare to Dream!
